#Step

Automatic adjustment

1. Start the printer in repair mode. Turn the power on while touching [Screen Center], and keep pressing until the mode select screen is displayed. Touch the center of the panel to start repair mode.
   

2. Set the paper.

3. Start the Service Program, and select Bi-D Adjustment.

4. Select the [Automatic] tab and click the [Automatic] button to perform automatic adjustment using the ink mark sensor.

Manual adjustment

1. Start the printer in repair mode. Turn the power on while touching [Screen Center], and keep pressing until the mode select screen is displayed. Touch the center of the panel to start repair mode.
   

2. Set the paper.

3. Start the Service Program, and select Bi-D Adjustment.

4. Select the [Manual] tab and click the [Print] button to print the adjustment pattern.
   

5. Check #1A adjustment pattern.
   

6. Check the number of the pattern with the narrowest visible lines (lines overlapping)

   

7. After confirming the adjustment patterns for all the remaining columns in the same manner, and selecting the pattern that makes the lines look the thinnest (the lines overlap), write the number in the input field.

8. Click [Input] after finished entering in all numbers.

9. Click the [Print] button to check whether the adjustments are optimized.
10. If readjustment is required, print the adjustment pattern and perform the adjustment again.
