Error contents

  • In HCS3 communications between the Printer Main Circuit Board and Main-B Board, CH83 Main Circuit Board internal (FFC communications) communications failed.

Suspected cause
  • Printer Main Circuit Board signal short-circuit, broken lead
  • CH83 Main-B Circuit Board signal short-circuit, broken lead
  • FFC abnormality between Printer Main Circuit Board and CH83 Main-B Circuit Board (skewed connection/broken lead/short-circuit)

  • Check the connection status of the CH83 Main Board - CH83 Main-B Board FFC (disconnection, skewed connection, inserted halfway, peeled terminal). If an abnormality is found, reconnect it.
  • If there is an abnormality with the CH83 Main Board - CH83 Main-B Board FFC, and the problem is not resolved even after reconnection, then replace the CH83 Main Board - CH83 Main-B Board FFC.
