Installation procedure

This explains the Service Program install method.

  1. Access the Tech Exchange system.
  2. Click “Document Search & Download”.

  3. Select the T/I. (No. TE21-1253)
  4. Download the Installer named “EPSON_SC-T77-57-37_P85-65_D_DL_DM(ServiceProgram_Ver.X.X.X)_EN_STG.exe”.
  5. Run the ““EPSON_SC-T77-57-37_P85-65_D_DL_DM(ServiceProgram_Ver.X.X.X)_EN_STG.exe”.

  6. The Installer start-up. Click “Install”.
  7. Boot up the Setup wizard. Click the “Next” button, and check the license agreement. Select the check box to agree, then click the [Next] button. In the same way, check the privacy statement, then click the [Next] button.
  8. Input your Tech Exchange ID and Password and click the “Next” button.
  9. Click the “Finish” button after the installation is finished correctly.
  10. A folder named “ServiceSupportTool” is created in the “CH83” exclusive folder on the Windows menu.
  11. You can now run the Service Program.

Troubleshooting

When you try to install the Service Program with the new installer, one of the below messages can occur. Here is what to do, as a User.

Unknown User ID or Wrong PasswordDo not have a Tech Exchange ID. (Not registered)
  • If you are registered in Tech Exchange, check the ID and try to input it again.
  • If you are not registered yet, contact your administrator to register your ID in Tech Exchange. And include you in a group that has “Adjustment Program Read” Access Right.
There is a mistake in the password.
  • Check the password, try to input it again.
  • Ask the Tech Exchange administrator to reset the password in Tech Exchange.
User Account Validity ExpiredThe validity period or the user in Tech Exchange has expired.Ask your Tech Exchange administrator to update the validity period of your account in Tech Exchange.
Wrong User Access RightThe user belongs to a group that does not have “Adjustment Program Read” Access Right.Ask your Tech Exchange administrator to include you in a group that has “Adjustment Program Read” Access Right.
Installer Link Not Activated or Expired for the User GroupNo permission to download the Service Program. (The Tech Exchange administrator has not authorized delivery)Ask your Tech Exchange administrator to make a link between the installer and the group you belong to on the SPC Manager site or modify the validity period.
