# Wiping the Print Head

1. Select Maintenance - User Cleaning - Wiping the Print Head. The print head moves to the cleaning position.
2. Open the maintenance cover.
   
3. Use the cleaning stick to remove any ink, fluff, or trash.
   
4. Close the maintenance cover.
   
5. Go to the rear of the printer.
6. Open the port cover.
   
7. Open the rear maintenance cover.
   
8. Clean the edges of the print head with a cleaning stick.
   
9. Close the rear maintenance cover.
   
10. Close the port cover.
    

11. Press OK on the control panel. The print head returns to its original position.
