Media wrinkles during paper feeding

Suspected cause

  • The "Lateral Feed Adjustment" function is OFF, and the correction function cannot be made full use of.
    *: When the "Lateral Feed Adjustment" function is set to ON, paper feed on the home and full sides can be made uniform by the Sub PF Roller and Sub PF Slack Sensor. Note, however, that when this function is used on thin paper, for example, wrinkling might occur.
    *: Default is Standard

Paper may ripple or bend depending on environmental changes in temperature or humidity, and as this can cause rubbing, abide by the following points

  • Load the paper just before printing.
  • Do not use paper with ripples or bends.
  • When using roll paper, cut off ripped or bent paper and then reset in the printer.
  • For cut sheets, use new paper.
