Roll Paper

The gray area in the illustration below shows the printable area.
When printing borderless at the left and right, the left and right margins will be 0 mm. When printing borderless on all sides, the margins on all sides will be 0 mm. The arrow in the illustration indicates the direction that the paper is ejected.

*1: If “Banner” is selected for “Roll Paper Option” in the printer driver “Advanced” tab, the top and bottom margins are 0 mm.

(1) to (4) in the figure represent the front end, the rear end, and the left and right margins. When printing borderless, the following values will be 0 mm.

  • When printing borderless on the left and right: (2) (4)
  • When printing borderless on all sides: (1) (2) (3) (4)

Other than this, it depends on the setting value of [Front margin] in the menu.

The manufacturer's default is 3mm/15mm.

Check Point / チェックポイント
  • Printing is disturbed when the final edge of the roll paper deviates from the core. Make sure that the end edge does not cover the print area.
  • The printed size does not change even if the margin amount changes.
  • Also, when printing the following paper in CAD/ Line Drawing mode, the values for (1) and (3) will be 3 mm.

When printing borderless at the left and right, the left and right margins will be 0 mm. (Board paper cannot be printed borderlessly)
