010IR DETECT LEVELRinging signal detection level13~6013Vrms

Paging signal detection minimum level. In a case where a call signal is erroneously detected due to the influence of noise, changing the set value may avoid a problem symptom. Note, however, that if the set value is too high, it will not be possible to detect the calling signal itself. In general, OUT etc. in PBX/Optical line are lower than 75(65-83)Vrms (the standard of IR DETECT in telephone line.) To change this value, measure the IR with an scilloscope to find a set value that “IR is detectable but noise is not detected”.

Note / 補足
  • Conversion formula between RMS value (Vrms) and ringing signal value (Vpp) measured by oscilloscope.

  • RMS value Vrms ≒ Vp-p ÷ 2 ÷ √ 2 ≒ Vp-p ÷ 2.8

  • Peak value Vp-p ≒ Vrms x 2 x √ 2 ≒ Vrms x 2.8

011IR DET FRQ MINLower limit of IR detect frequency (PSTN)11 - 2112Hz

Set the lower limit value / upper limit value of the ringing signal detection frequency.
When connecting line = PSTN, detection is performed in the range of 12 to 66Hz by default.

012IR DET FRQ MAXUpper limit of IR detect default. frequency (PSTN)27 - 8066Hz

014IR DET FRQ MAX (PBX)Upper limit of IR detect frequency (PBX)27 - 8080Hz
015IR ON TIME MINDuration time of IR detect on [minimum]9 - 3015x100ms

Minimum time to recognize call signal ON
If it is shorter than this time, it does not judge it as a call signal and does not answer incoming call. (A calling tone rings with ON of 80ms. )

016IR ON TIME MAXDuration time of IR detect on [Maximum]50 - 8080x100ms

Maximum time to recognize call signal ON
If it is longer than this time, it does not judge it as a call signal and does not answer incoming call. A calling tone rings. )

017IR OFF TIME MINDuration time of IR detect off [minimum] (PSTN)6 - 1010x100ms

Call signal off confirmation time
When the calling signal OFF time longer than this setting is detected, the calling signal is counted as 1 time.
It does not count when the OFF TIME is shorter. Reference value for connection line PSTN.

018IR OFF TIME MAXDuration time of IR detect on [Maximum]40 - 12540x100ms

If the off time is longer than this, it is judged that the call signal has disappeared.
Resets IR counter. Display of during calling disappears. )

019IR OFF TIME MIN (PBX)Duration time of IR detect off [minimum] (PBX)200 - 1000600ms

Call signal off confirmation time
When a IR OFF TIME longer than the set value is detected, counts one IR.  It does not count when the OFF TIME is shorter.

This function changes when the response of the partner fax is slow and exceeds the response waiting time.
It is the same effect as putting a pose with a pause button after dialing.

033BROADCAST INTVAL TIMEBroadcast interval timer1 - 655366sec

When performing broadcast fax, set this shorter for sending only, and set this longer for sending and receiving to make space for a incoming call.

035REDIAL COUNTNumber of recalls0 - 153timesLinked with [Number of automatic redials] of fax setting
036FORWARD RETRY INTERVALTransfer retry interval0 - 2550min

Sets the interval and frequency of Forward retry when a transfer error occurs during Fax to Folder/Fax to Email transfer.

[Setting Examples]

FORWARD RETRY INTERVAL = 30

FORWARD RETRY COUNT=144

Retry 144 times in every 30 min = 30 x 144=4320 min=72h=3Continues the retry for 3 days.

[Cautions for setting]

1) Change the setting of “FORWARD RETRY COUNT” and “FORWARD RETRY INTERVAL” at a time.

2) When multiple transfer destinations are set, if a transfer job becomes a retry state due to an error, the other jobs are not executed until the ongoing job is finished (remain as standby).

037FORWARD RETRY COUNTTransfer retry count0 - 2550times
038JOB INTERVAL TIMEJob interval timer1 - 655366secIf the product always store multiple transmission job as standby jobs, set it shorter for transmitting only, and set it longer to make space for an incoming when both transmitting and receiving are required. Change the “033 BROADCAST INTVAL TIME” as well.

A4
A4/B4
A4/B4/A3

A4/B4/A3

Use this when you want to disable color reception.
“Disable”: Drops the color reception capability bit from the DIS signal (which declares the capability of the own device) transmitted at the time of an incoming call.  Since the transmitting side has no color receiving ability, color transmission is not performed.
When you enable “A4” “A4 / B4” “B4 / A3” “A3” paper with fax, reduction color reception capability bit from DIS signal sent at incoming call.

A4
A4/B4
A4/B4/A3
Auto

Auto

Regardless of the paper size set in the apparatus, It is used when you want to specify the paper width to receive fax fixed.
If it is changed, the receiving paper width capability bit of the DIS signal (to declare the capability of the own device) transmitted at the time of the incoming call changes.

Example of use

  • When transmitting an A3 / B4 manuscript on the transmitting side, look at the receiving paper width capability bit of the DIS signal of the receiver (declare the capability of your device), and send it in A3 / B4 width or reduce it. Decide if you want to. When the receiving sheet width capability bit = A 4, the image is reduced / cut to A 4 and transmitted.
  • When A3 / B4 paper is not set in the device, but you want to receive faxes in A3 / B4 and receive it as A3 / B4 size electronic data by saving / transferring to external memory. Use for, etc.
